Bunny binkies

Cinnamon was in one of her moods last night. I was downstairs in my computer room/office/room where I play video games, and I heard the sound of running directly above me. In other words, the rabbit room. I also heard John laughing and talking to the rabbits.

So I ran upstairs to see what was going on. John just said, "Cinnamon is spicy." I looked at her, and she was just standing in the middle of the room looking innocent. I asked her, "What's going on?" Suddenly, she leapt straight in the air and took off, running circles around the room. She kept doing this -- pausing briefly, then leaping straight up and running. She also periscoped a lot, almost falling over once and twice.

The best part was when she leapt up and turned a circle in midair. She also did the jump-and-twist several times. All of these were accompanied by the happy head shake -- a hilarious sight when it involves a lop-eared rabbit.

It's such a shame that the rabbits are so depressed. ;)

An Easter update

Things are still going well at the bunny house. I have a few funny stories to share, but no pictures at the moment.

1) In the afternoon, Cinnamon was out of the cage and obviously lazy. She managed to stand up to groom herself a bit, but afterward, she just sat there with her eyes closed. And she was swaying like a drunkard. She was too tired to remain standing, but too lazy to lay down. It was pretty sad.

2) Cinnamon and Brinco were both spicy (wild) one day last week, and they decided that the cottage was going down. Unfortunately for them, their attempt to tip over the cottage was foiled by a nearby cardboard box. So the cottage ended up at an angle. This didn't stop Brinco from climbing inside. Things were a bit precarious as he tried to exit out the top of the cottage -- he's not really build for climbing up smooth surfaces.

3) We are bad bunny owners. I still don't know how it got into the bunny area, but John went into the room and found Brinco poking at a plastic grocery bag. There was something brown inside. It was Cinnamon. The bunnies are both okay, thankfully. I am still puzzled.

4) When Brinco folds all his feet in and lays his ears flat on his back, he looks like a speckled egg. Therefore, he must be the Easter bunny!
